Blasphemous portraits that approach paintings in which only the holiest of Sinners are allowed.
I was raised Catholic, and as such I have always wanted my subjects to feel divine. Once I realized I could light my subjects and retouch painted background into scenes it was a clear path. I wanted desperately to replicate the old masters in a way that made sense to me. I can’t paint with a brush on canvas, so why not digitally?
